I’ve seen business from many perspectives.

I’ve spent more than 25 years working with entrepreneurs, across finance, corporate finance, business leadership, investment and advisory.

That includes fundraising, acquisitions and exits worth up to £50 million, senior finance roles and board advisory.

Numbers tell a story. I help you get clear on the real numbers and what they’re saying, then on what they mean to you and where you want to take them.

Build a business that gives you options.

You may want to sell your business one day. You may not. Either way, building it to be ready for an exit makes good business sense.

Stronger systems, better leadership and less reliance on you make a business more valuable. They make you more resilient too, and free you to lead rather than do everything yourself.

Life doesn’t always follow the plan. A business that can operate without you gives you choices when circumstances change.

The business and the person leading it are connected.

Growth isn’t just about strategy.

To grow the business, you often have to grow yourself. I’m an entrepreneur and investor too, and I’ve spent years coaching CEOs, co-founders, leadership teams and boards. What holds a business back is often human: a founder who can’t let go, co-founders pulling in different directions, a board avoiding the real conversation.

Three connected stages, not a straight line. We’re always working in one, with the other two in view.

Align

Where are you really, and where do you want to go? Does your story match the numbers?

Grow

What makes the business more valuable, to you and to others?

Realise

Could you realise the value you’re building, now and in the future?

The approach is consistent. The work is tailored to you and your business.

Clarifying. Challenging. Caring.

I ask the questions others might not, challenge assumptions and help you see the bigger picture. I’ll bring commercial rigour and an honest perspective, but the answers stay yours.

Alongside you, never above. My view isn’t the truth. Challenge it.

The principles behind my work

  1. Clarity and purpose

Ask the real questions, starting with why, and see clearly where you are.

  2. Impact

Build something that matters, to you and beyond.

  3. Simplicity

Life offers many paths. Narrow to the few that matter most.

  4. Action

Turn thinking into decisions and progress.

  5. Routine

Make change stick, with the right environment, tracking and support.

  6. Community

Better thinking comes from the right people in the right room.

  7. Joy

Business is hard. Find the joy in it anyway.

My route here wasn’t a straight line.

I grew up around entrepreneurship and went on to build a career in audit and corporate finance, working closely with business owners on important decisions.

In 2008, wanting something different, I took a sabbatical, left London life behind and set off on an adventure. My “street MBA” included travel, meditation training, yoga teacher training, a coaching certification, a day skipper certificate and work with charities and social enterprises, which is where I first coached in business. It was a search for meaning and purpose, and it changed how I think about success.

I returned to London and to business, helping entrepreneurs grow and realise their ambitions, first in finance roles, then as a coach and board adviser. All of this shapes the work I do today, and I’m still learning.

Nature is where I do my best thinking.

I love the outdoors. Trees, water, open sky. It’s where I slow down, breathe and think clearly.

That time outside shapes how I work: step back from the day to day, look at the whole landscape, then decide what to change.
